Provide key financial and business support to the Americas Finance Leader and the USA/?Canada Business Leader.? The controller provides key financial and business support to the Americas Financial Leader.?  This position is responsible for the daily financial activities of our Gulf of Mexico operations and provides assistance and support for Global operations.

Essential Functions

Responsible for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial results.
Responsible for coordination and preparation of forecasts and budgets.
Responsible for internal control implementation, evaluation, and documentation that is compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley legislation and regulation.
Recommend and implement appropriate inventory policies and procedures that are consistent across the Americas.? Maintain a product costing environment that is compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley legislation and regulation.
Manage the monthly closing process, financial analysis, and the preparation of related management reports.
Analyze product cost and margin variances and work cross functionally to address any significant differences.
Assist the Americas Finance Leader and other Leadership Team members with assigned projects
Responsible for the completion of formal and informal information requests from parent company.

Qualifications – Education, Experience, and/?or Training

Bachelor’s degree in Business with specialization in Accounting is required.
CPA and /?or MBA preferred.
Eight plus years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing/?equipment rental environment.
Demonstrated record of performance in working in both financial and operational business areas is required.
Demonstrated effective supervisory background, with at least five years of experience in directing multi-person staffs is required.

Controller

Region Manager’s overall business contribution will require extensive general management, operational management and sales management experience. The position will be held directly accountable for the growth of existing business and the development and implementation of new business projects. The Region Manager will also be accountable for the management and maintenance of all profit and loss targets associated with the region’s $50M plus business plan. The Region Manager will be required to assemble and lead a region management team of direct and matrix personnel as well as identifying and coordinating skills or competencies available outside of the Gulf of Mexico Region.
