Key Responsibilities:
• Execution of timely and accurate US month end closing, reporting and analysis versus
forecast
• Preparation of quarterly, monthly and weekly forecast information working in close
collaboration with the Americas leadership team
• Design, implementation and monitoring of internal control processes for both finance and
non-finance business processes and rapid communication and action to address areas of
weakness, including balance sheet verification; SOD; Sox process documentation and
execution; budgetary controls; IT system controls; and safeguarding of company assets

• Preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns and other statutory filing requirements
for all legal entities and operations outside of the USA
• Involvement with future acquisitions including due diligence and integration activities
Key Relationships:
The Americas controller will be the go to person for all financial matters in the region – key
network will include :
• Business Leader and Leadership team
• Finance organization – both HT and sister businesses
• Finance Dept. and Financial Leadership Team
• Any corporate functions including treasury, tax, internal audit, external reporting
• External contacts including external auditors, bankers, insurance, tax advisors
Required Capabilities (describe scope of knowledge and ability of the position):
Qualified accountant with 10 years of relevant experience including :
• Management of a team with remote members
• Demonstrated ability to constructively challenge, influence and persuade commercial and
operations management
• Demonstrated ability to add value to commercial performance
• Demonstrated responsibility financial control and reporting for a complex organisation
including non-US subsidiaries
• Advanced system and analytical skills [Excel/Hyperion]. Oracle experience would be an
advantage.

This position provides key financial and business support.
