The position requires someone with a strong customer service, follow-up, and relationship-building skill set to meet the customer&#8217;s needs.   The market is a vast untapped territory and has great potential for company&#8217;s products and services in the Oil &amp; Gas, Power Generation, Heavy Industry, Construction, Pipeline and other industries.<br />
<strong> Resp</strong><strong>onsibilities of this individual include:</strong></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>Establish contact with existing clients to maintain and build future relationships within the territory assigned.  Candidate must have strong territorial management skills, along with establishing new clients through cold calling, research and networking within the assigned territory.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li> Must be a &#8216;hands-on&#8217; salesperson when needed, and be able to conduct presentations to upper level personnel when required.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Must be technically competent to understand applications as well as problem-solver for customer issues. The candidate must possess the skills to assess the customer&#8217;s needs and &#8216;solution sell.&#8217;   Must have the ability to probe, question, and gather specific information about the customer, his needs, and track the information for short and long term projects.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Candidate must be an experienced, self-starter that understands territory management, time management and has strong customer service skills and is self-motivated.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li> Candidate will be expected to travel within the assigned territory. Travel will be via car or air, depending on time, budget and customer constraints. It is estimated that overnight travel will encompass up to 35% of their time.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Work closely with management to insure company goals and objectives are being met within the territory. In addition, relay competitive information and new market or product requirements to grow the product line and maintain reputation as a leader in our field.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Qualified individuals will possess the following attributes:</strong></p>

<li> Requires a 4-year degree and/or 5 to 8 years industrial sales experience in the Oil &amp; Gas, Petrochemical/Refining, Power Generation or Contractor industries.</li>
</ul>

<li> Positive, &#8216;can-do&#8217; attitude and team builder. Must be willing to work with others and prioritize for the good of the organization and its members.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li> Must be computer literate and have experience working with Microsoft programs and sales CRM/database programs.</li>
</ul>

<li> Must be a self-starter, motivated, and familiar with tooling applications within the industries listed.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li> Must be experienced in forecasting, budgeting, and developing a territory with little supervision.  Candidate will be held accountable for the financial results of the assigned territory.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li> Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, legal documents and technical design drawings.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li> Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community and be a strong problem solver.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li> Ability to compose quotations and generate correspondence to customers, end users, and representatives that conforms to a prescribed style and format.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li> Ability to effectively present information to management and public groups when required.</li>

<li> Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as bolt load/psi/foot pound calculations, statistical inference, and fundamentals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations such as pricing/profit levels.</li>

<p>Plans, manages and coordinates maritime and industrial marine construction and logistics projects for customers in the oil and gas, mining and marine transportation industries. Works with customers from project concept to completion. Coordinates and supervises the project planning, as well as the activities of on-site project personnel to ensure a designated project progresses on schedule and within budget parameters. Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.</p>
<p>Partner with business development group in maintaining and building strong relations with customers. Review project proposals and determine the time frames, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.</p>
<p>Leader in building a strong project management team through the development of specific systems, processes and standards that drive the operations of the department and enhances project organization, professionalism and profitability.</p>
<p><strong>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE &amp; EDUCATION:</strong></p>
<p>Bachelors degree in business, engineering or related discipline. PMP certificate required 5 &#8211; 10 years as a project manager or project engineer in above stated areas. Must have experience with multi-million dollar projects with focus on either design engineering, construction, overhaul, logistics or supply chain management. Experience with customer and contractor negotiations. Must have experience with subcontracting and sourcing. Must show proven ability of budgeting, cost control, scheduling, and meeting deadlines. Must be willing to travel up to 30%. Must have experience in managing personnel, engineering, document control, QA/QC including material certificates, NDT certificates, as built documentation and verify that all are followed and complete in accordance with the scope of work, client’s Q.A. manual, industry and regulatory standards and project specific requirements. Solid Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience required. Must possess skill sets and demonstrate proven experience developing, improving and streamlining processes to meet established goals and objectives.</p>

<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>
<p>Bachelors degree required, with emphasis on accounting, business or finance preferred. 5 &#8211; 7 years experience in accounting.</p>

Key  responsibilities of this individual are:</p>
<p>Establish contact with  existing clients to maintain and build future relationships within the  territory assigned.  Candidate must have strong territorial management  skills, along with establishing new clients through cold calling,  research and networking within the assigned territory.<br />
Must be a &#8216;hands-on&#8217; salesperson when needed, and be able to conduct presentations to upper level personnel when required.   Must  be technically competent to understand applications as well as problem  solver for customer&#8217;s issues. The candidate must posses the skills to  assess the customers needs and &#8216;solution sell&#8217;.  Must have the ability to  probe, question, and gather specific information about the customer,  his needs, and track the information for short and long term projects.<br />
Candidate  must be an experienced, self-starter that understands territory  management, time management and has strong customer service skills and  is self-motivated.  Candidate will be expected to travel within the  assigned territory. Travel will be via car or air, depending on time,  budget and customer constraints. It is estimated that overnight travel  will encompass up to 35% of their time.    Liaise with internal sales  support and operations staff on equipment requirements, quotations,  orders, or follow up to insure customer&#8217;s needs are met.    Work  closely with management to insure company goals and objectives are being  met within the territory. In addition, relay competitive information  and new market or product requirements to grow the product line and  maintain reputation as a leader in our field.<br />

<p>§     Liaise with shop supervisor or appropriate product sale personnel on specific order requirements to insure customer’s needs are met.</p>
<p>§     Follow-up on all rental orders on a weekly basis to insure customer’s satisfaction and tool utilization.</p>
<p>§     Liaise with shop/plant supervisor on inventory control issues</p>
<p>§     Follow-up on all open quotations to secure orders and close sales.</p>
<p>§     Keep thorough notes and records of each conversation with customers, sales personnel, and internal contacts to insure a valid paper trail is kept.</p>
<p>§     Maintain accessibility on weekends and holidays to assist customers after hours.</p>
<p>§     Backup on phone system to insure calls are answered efficiently and rotate during lunch periods, or when shorthanded because of vacation or sick leave.</p>
<p>§     Coordinate shipping of equipment and negotiate logistics with freight companies to insure shipping arrangements.</p>
<p>§     Provide ample notice to shop/plant personnel of order requirements to insure most economical shipping method is used.</p>
<p>§     Follow and implement all ISO procedures and paperwork.</p>
<p>§     Support outside sales staff through literature requests, maintaining rep equipment orders, preparing all quotes generated through outside sales</p>
<p>§     Gather and complete credit applications for new customers</p>
<p>§     Assist A/R with collections by calling our customer contacts</p>
<p>§     Prepare shop work orders for equipment sales, rentals and service.</p>
<p>§     Maintain contract negotiations with customers</p>
<p>§     Reconcile negotiations when a project/order has performance discrepancies</p>
<p>§     Offer inside support, maintenance and management of offshore and subsea customer base.</p>
<p>§     Work with Engineering Dept to assist in customer “specials” and to create new products for fleet</p>
<p>§     Work closely with production to establish lead times and prioritize orders</p>
<p>§     Prepare calculation spreadsheets for equipment “buyouts”</p>
<p>§     Issue and catalog Certificates of Insurance (required by customers’ site specifications)</p>
<p>§     Monitor Industrial Alerts program and maintain as needed: forward outage leads to offshore/subsea rep, make cold calls directly to plants customers within offshore/subsea market, track and catalog orders coming in using that program</p>
<p>§     Work with purchasing for sourcing customer requested items</p>
<p>§     Work with outside vendors for site specific requirements (radios, nomex, monitors, etc.)</p>
<p>§     Work closely with Field Service Department: to coordinate projects, communicate job scopes and under certain circumstances staff projects when necessary.</p>
<p>§     Issue Field Service work orders for new projects</p>
<p>§     Assist operations with logistics for Field Service projects (freight, airfare, charter flights, hotel, rental car, etc.)</p>
<p>§     Reconcile time sheets, expense reports, receipts at completion of Field Service project and calculate for invoicing</p>
<p>§     Discovery work of new and potential offshore/subsea customers.</p>
<p>§     Prepare all weekly / monthly reports ({wk = sales figures} {mth = hyperion, sale backlog, labor and rental accruals, warehouse backlog})</p>
<p>§     Provide technical and joint integrity solutions including calculations, procedures, company policies and operating  guidelines to customers</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Qualifications &#8211; Education, Experience, and/or Training</span></strong></p>
<p>§     3+ years technical sales experience working in a fast paced office environment or</p>
<p>College degree in Business, Marketing or related field, preferred</p>
<p>§     Experience working with the Petrochemical/Refining, or Offshore or Subsea market, preferred.</p>
<p>§     Will have strong mechanical aptitude and math skills.</p>
<p>§     Computer experience working with Microsoft programs and database software management programs.</p>

<p>This position is accountable for coordinating the design and processing of customer orders, enhancing existing products, researching and solving technical problems, and assisting in the development of new products.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">NATURE AND SCOPE:</span></strong></p>
<p>This position reports to the Vice President of Engineering, along with the Quality Assurance Manager, Sr. Designers, Drafting Clerk, Application Engineers, Sales Engineer, MIS Director, and Principal Engineer.</p>
<p>The  engineers  sells, and manufacturers heat exchanger products, primarily for the utility, processing, industrial, and OEM markets. Among the types of products are air cooled heat exchangers, air preheaters, economizers, finned tubes, tank heaters, and related parts and sub-assemblies.  The products are manufactured to engineering specifications developed from customer requirements.</p>
<p>The Sr. Contract Engineer reviews all orders assigned to him to ensure that the design will meet the intent of the specification and comply with all applicable codes.  After completing the review, provide all departments within the Company with information necessary to fabricate and ship the equipment on time and in accordance with the Purchaser’s specifications.  This will involve heat transfer calculations, reviewing preliminary design sketches, and preparing ASME Code Pressure Vessel calculations as well as structural calculations for wind, seismic, and nozzle loadings.</p>
<p>The incumbent will be responsible for developing specifications and bill of materials for auxiliary equipment to be purchased as part of the company&#8217;s scope of supply (i.e. pumps, controls, piping, and electrical equipment) and ensuring timely release of all required bills of material to support manufacturing requirements.</p>
<p>The Sr. Contract Engineer may be required to assist in the development of new heat exchanger designs and solutions to engineering problems facing the Company.  Such developments are intended to enhance the marketability of our product, maintain the Company at the forefront of industry technology and ensure a growing share of the market.</p>
<p>The Contract Engineer works with the Application Engineering department in testing current designs to confirm engineering specifications and capabilities of current products.  The tests are conducted to meet performance requirements of sales orders or as backup to engineering requirements specified in the contract.  Development of accurate test data and reports are necessary to minimize potential product warrantee claims and to avoid field problems after installation.</p>
<p>Incumbent is responsible for developing engineering data which can be utilized in performing Sales Engineering and Contract Engineering functions. Incumbent provides mathematical analysis required to develop new designs, backup field problems and to meet special order requirements.  The techniques of mathematical analysis may be developed into computer programs or become procedures for verifying engineering capabilities of heat exchangers.  Incumbent works with Sales to assist in training and advising them of existing and newly developed procedures.</p>
<p>Incumbent provides technical and field support.  He may accompany sales representatives or the Vice President of Engineering to provide answers to technical questions on proposal offerings, or investigate design, installation and or performance problems.  The thrust of these activities are to promote sales, minimize product warranty claims and maintain customer confidence in products and engineering expertise.</p>
<p>The Sr. Contract Engineer has frequent contact with customers, Application Engineering, and Manufacturing personnel regarding engineering problems or applications, with Estimating, Purchasing, and vendors regarding components, materials, cost analysis and prices.</p>
<p>This position requires a college degree Engineering with emphasis on heat transfer, thermodynamics, or equivalent, plus five to ten years experience directly related to heat exchanger products; the ability to work independently and direct the activities through co-workers.  The position also requires the incumbent be competent using computer software, such as Microsoft Windows, Office, and AutoCad.</p>

Social Media is a great way to locate jobs, but if you are a specialist, like I believe I&#8217;m starting to become, then here are some possible jobs that you can apply for:</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>Jobs for Facebook Addicts</strong></p>
<p>If you&#8217;re a social media guru, here are five jobs to consider in your next job search:</p>
<p><strong>1. Recruiter</strong></p>
<p>Candidates have been on social networks for years now, and it&#8217;s about time recruiters joined them. Daniel says Dan Temps&#8217; recruiters can find candidates faster, screen them better and reach out to individuals they wouldn&#8217;t see otherwise.</p>
<p>&#8220;Dan Temps believes that the environment candidates are accustomed to in a social network will keep the conversations and information real,&#8221; Daniel says. &#8220;Candidates don&#8217;t feel they are being pressured in that environment like they would in a more formal interview or screening process and are more likely to get real with our recruiters.&#8221;</p>
<p><strong>2. Strategist</strong></p>
<p>Many companies are seeking social media strategists to find the best way to interact within various social sites and online communities. In this role, you would be the face of social media for your company, creating and maintaining an effective social media strategy by interacting with users, growing brand awareness, creating buzz, increasing traffic and providing valuable information. To thrive in this position, Durbin says you must have a proven track record of achieving goals, or companies will be hesitant to hire you.</p>
<p><strong>3. Enterprise architect</strong></p>
<p>&#8220;This is the most exciting job in social media and requires someone with broad experience in networks, multiple platforms, development, security and political infighting,&#8221; Durbin says. &#8220;This is a very rare find. It&#8217;s for companies looking to completely revamp their content management strategy and internal networks. It could be the most important role in a company in the next five years.&#8221;</p>
<p><strong>4. User operations analyst</strong></p>
<p>For any company with an online presence, user experience is one of the most vital parts of the business. The only way to monitor that is to have someone in charge of the experience themselves. No matter if the company is blogging, has a Web site or pages on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, user operations analysts interact with users, answer queries, investigate problems and keep track of user habits.</p>
<p><strong>5. Director of social media</strong></p>
<p>Similar to a strategist, companies need someone to organize company blogging, viral marketing, podcasting, etc. This person has a background in building teams and who really gets the promise and the purpose of social media, Durbin says. These folks should be wary of new technologies and be all over blogs, RSS, have Facebook and Twitter accounts, and know the difference between his or her employees playing and researching on MySpace and YouTube.</p></blockquote>
<p>So if you can&#8217;t get a job in your &#8220;chosen&#8221; profession, it might be time for you apply your Social Media skills to &#8220;today&#8217;s hottest market&#8221;; therefore, rework your resume and APPLY, APPLY, and APPLY!  </p>
<blockquote><p>Searching for social media jobs</p>
<p>You might think that finding social media jobs is difficult but many of these positions under a variety of job titles that don&#8217;t include &#8220;social media.&#8221;</p>
<p>Try searching job boards and the Internet for &#8220;social media,&#8221; &#8220;interactive marketing,&#8221; &#8220;new media&#8221; or &#8220;branding manager&#8221; and you should get a good start in the right direction. </p></blockquote>
